Job Description

Amazing opportunity with a global financial institution in Downtown Toronto!  Our client is excited to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to work as part of team, for one the world's leading wealth management companies and leader in corporate and investment banking and trading.  The role will report to the Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Reporting.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be primarily involved in activities around Regulatory Reporting including:

• completing the monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports for IIROC & OSFI
• completing daily & weekly capital reporting
• completing the semi-annual and quarterly Statistics Canada reports
• supporting both broker dealer and bank branch with regulatory rules and interpretations

The Senior Financial Analyst will have completed a Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, hold an Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA), have experience working in a financial institution in a reporting or audit function, exposure to IIROC or OSFI regulatory requirements is considered an asset. A successful candidate for this position will have strong analytical skills, communicates effectively, and demonstrates an ability to take initiative.
