We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work with the University Information Technology on a temporary contract to January 2019 for this exciting opportunity. In this role, you will provide guidance and coordination to large, multi-faceted projects. The Project Manager is expected to provide professional project management and analytical expertise in support of all phases of a project, including oversight, coordination, implementation, execution, control and successful completion consistent with the organizational and business goals of the University.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A relevant University degree e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering as well as formal project management training. In addition, the successful incumbent will have a minimum 5 years of current and related experience with a broad working knowledge of information technologies that provides a credible framework for the preparation and monitoring of IT related projects. A proven ability to oversee the overall development and implementation of large scale IT projects, including leading project teams both in a physical and virtual team environment. Candidates should possess current and applied knowledge in project management methodology, e.g., PMBOK, systems development lifecycle frameworks and quality assurance. A PMP designation would be considered a welcome asset.
