Job Description

Western University invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice-President (Operations & Finance).

Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor and as a member of the senior executive team, the new Vice-President (Operations & Finance) joins Western at a favourable time. Home to a cohesive, service-oriented, and hardworking team, the portfolio encompasses Financial, Health, Hospitality, Retail, and Campus Community Police Services, as well as Housing, Internal Audit, Legal Counsel, and Facilities Management (Facilities Operations, Building Services, Facilities Development & Engineering, Parking Services, and Sustainability). As Western’s chief financial and operations officer, the new Vice-President has a real opportunity to have an indelible impact on the University’s future by leveraging the portfolio’s many accomplishments over the last several years, and in a unit that reflects a culture very much aligned with the University’s academic mission and strategic directions.

A graduate degree or a professional finance designation is preferred.
