As the principal aide to the President, the Chief of Staff serves a supportive and facilitative role managing the coordination of the Office of the President in all facets of University Operations. The encumbent handles a wide range of matters of institutional importance on behalf of the President including day-to-day management and execution of special initiatives; oversees operations of the Office of the President, to include coordination of the budget, administration, policies, and procedures for the President’s Office; and ensures appropriate coordination and oversight in the development of defined core initiatives for the Office of the President. Serves as the President's primary strategic and planning liaison with University and community constituencies.
