Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in team mentorship and project management, preferably in a field based on the hard sciences. This role would help lead a team of Technical Research Analysts in day-to-day operations, project management and strategic direction setting.



 •          Help manage and oversee a team of Research Specialists to ensure accuracy and completeness of our relational database

•          Help manage and oversee a team of Research Analysts to ensure project quality, timeliness and best practices, and help improve company processes and client deliverables

•          Manage, complete and synthesize custom consulting projects for clients including liaising between the client and the company

•          Complete quantitative analyses on market conditions of our customers and their related business metrics

•          Manage and conduct industry analyses

•          Institute new project management tools and processes to help a rapidly growing company ensure project quality, timeliness and best practices

•          Train and foster growth among the current Research Specialists

•          Train new hires

•          Work with the Software Development team on software improvements, and projects

•          Help to manage Software Development initiatives such as new product development to ensure deliverables meet client expectations including liaising between the client and the Software Development Team

•          Other responsibilities as may be required from time to time



 •         At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, Master’s Degree an asset

•         Experience and intimate knowledge of any technologically advanced industry or discipline

•         Experience interacting with VP and C-suite officers of large technology firms an asset

•         PMP designation an asset

•          5+ years of relevant experience

•          Comfortable with business level mathematical and statistical operations

•          Experience managing staff and a team

•          Relevant Project Management experience

•          Ability to communicate complex, industry specific subjects and ideas clearly

•          Ability to maintain focus and possess meticulous attention to detail

•          Expert English language skills (both written and verbal)

•          Intimate familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

•          Familiarity with Project Management Tools and related best practices an asset


Location: Downtown Vancouver

Hours: Full-Time


Travel Required: Several times per year to relevant conferences or client meetings

Compensation: Commensurate with relevant experience. Base salary plus performance bonus. Extended health coverage.
