The Moncton Hospital, a facility within Horizon Health Network, is recruiting a locum and a permanent Maternal Fetal Medicine physician. The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology consists of six obstetrician/gynecologists and two maternal fetal medicine specialists. Applicants may participate in the on-call schedule. As the Moncton Hospital has affiliation with both Dalhousie University and Memorial University, academic and research opportunities are available.
The Moncton Hospital is a 386-bed tertiary and critical care facility within Horizon Health Network. It is a major referral hospital which serves communities throughout New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and northern Nova Scotia. The referral area of the Moncton Hospital covers approximately 3600 deliveries and has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. All major services and subspecialties are available.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology requires that members practicing Maternal Fetal Medicine be a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with subspecialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine from an accredited program in order to be eligible for active membership. Candidates with Royal College eligibility may be considered. Applicants must also qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.
Remuneration is negotiable, minimum $221, 078.00 annually (excluding benefits and source deductions), for a salaried position, with 20 vacation days and 10 CME days (in accordance with the Medical Pay Plan from Medicare, New Brunswick). On-call remuneration is fee-for-service.
