GENERAL PRACTITIONER IN ONCOLOGY
LONDON REGIONAL CANCER PROGRAM
A General Practitioner in Oncology position is available for inpatient work in the Division of Medical Oncology at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital.
Responsibilities on the inpatient unit include caring for admitted cancer patients and assessing patients in the LRCP and Emergency Department. All management will be conducted under the supervision of the medical oncologists at LRCP. Previous Oncology experience is preferred but not required. Full orientation and appropriate training will be provided. The position offers opportunities to participate in clinical trials, palliative care, educational activities and multi-disciplinary disease site teams.
Full-time position is available. Clinical duties are from Monday to Friday during regular daytime hours. Work does not involve on-call duties but these are optional with additional remuneration.
