Dartmouth General Hospital is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist. Dartmouth General Hospital is a 130 bed acute-care community hospital with two existing gastroenterologists who work as part of a group of internists.
Responsibilities include participation in the general medicine call schedule with an option for medical-surgical ICU coverage. Gastroenterology service involves outpatient/inpatient endoscopy, colon cancer screening and inpatient consultations.
Remuneration is fee-for-service except for ICU, which is via an alternate payment plan. Candidates must have a FRCPC fellowship (or equivalent) in gastroenterology and be eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia.
Academic rank at Dalhousie University will be dependent on qualifications and experience and requires a willingness and ability to teach medical students and residents.
