Halton Healthcare is seeking a full-time Urologist for our Georgetown Hospital. This full-time position will provide urology services to our growing hospital and community, and will help support an integrated and expanding urology service across all sites of Halton Healthcare.
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate commitment to expanding the urology surgery services in partnership with the current urologists. The candidate will also be expected to maintain a general urology practice in Georgetown and will be integrated into the Halton Healthcare Urology on-call system. There will be access to a modest allocation of elective resources at the Oakville site of Halton Healthcare for complex cases.
Candidates must have Certification in Urology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must have an independent license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Since 2011, Halton Healthcare has been affiliated with McMaster University. Together with the Department of Surgery at McMaster University, Division of Urology, the successful applicant can participate in surgical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
