Right now we are looking for a:
THERAPEUTIC GI ENDOSCOPIST
We are looking to recruit a full-time Gastroenterologist with training in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy to join a collegial team of 6 Gastroenterologists. This position will involve a broad clinical practice. Due to a busy inpatient service, the candidate should be comfortable with all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology. Expertise in endoscopy with advanced therapeutic training in ERCP and EUS is a requirement. Resources available include weekly outpatient endoscopy blocks and additional endoscopy blocks for inpatient on-call weeks. Candidates should also expect to participate in some General Medicine on-call responsibilities. Opportunities for participation in academic training exist due to our hospital’s affiliation with both the University of Toronto and Queen’s University.
Candidates who may be initiating or completing an Advanced Therapeutic training program are welcome to submit their applications for consideration.
In addition to demonstrated clinical excellence, you require relevant certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and are a member of, or eligible for membership, with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
