The Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University/Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks applications for a Full-Time Hepatologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre site.
The Division of Digestive Care & Endoscopy is one of 15 divisions in the Department of Medicine and is a leader of tertiary clinical services in theAtlantic Provinces. In addition to playing an important clinical role in the Department, Division members have excellent opportunities for collaborative educational and research endeavours with protected time for scholarly activities to ensure rewarding, fulfilling career development. It is expected that the successful candidate will provide specialty clinics in the Atlantic Multi-Organ Transplant Program and participate in teaching in the setting of clinical teaching units. Supervisory experience, including leadership, team-building and delegation, is an advantage.
This is a combined University/Hospital position. Academic rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. Candidates must have FRCP(C) certification (or equivalent) in Gastroenterology and additional training in Hepatology. Candidates must be eligible for specialty licensure inNova Scotia.
