Job Description

Northern Health is seeking a Radiologist to provide services in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.  

The successful applicant will be based full time in a hospital-based practice. Daily reporting includes CT, radiographs, ultrasound (general, obstetric, MSK and breast), general fluoroscopy, and mammography. Regional MRI coverage is optional and will be offered to interested applicants. Interventional procedures currently include breast, thyroid and soft tissue biopsies. Expansion to other interventional procedures is encouraged for the interested applicant. Call coverage is shared among the regional pool. Ob-Gyn ultrasounds will be shared by the current Ob-Gyn.

In order to be eligible for licensure in BC, your postgraduate training must meet the requirements of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Post graduate training must be obtained from an accredited and approved training program in a jurisdiction sanctioned by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
