Personal Insurance Account Manager (14 Month Contract)

HUB International’s vision is to be the leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry.  HUB International Ontario, Gamble Insurance is currently hiring a passionate, motivated and customer focused, Personal Insurance Account Manager (14 month contract), working out of our Sarnia, ON office.  This role is responsible for a combination of service and sales functions with a dedicated team player attitude.  The successful individual reports directly to the Manager, Personal Lines.

  • Provide clients with prompt, courteous and professional service
  • Resolve client concerns and complaints while ensuring that excellent service standards are met
  • Meet growth targets and sales goals
  • Analyze client coverage, exposures and loss experience to determine risk requirements
  • Prepare client pre-renewal and renewal packages, policies, submissions, binders, letters, summaries and invoices
  • Review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Effective management of workflow
  • Servicing Personal Insurance accounts as well as selling
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by manager
  • College Diploma or University Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in Personal Insurance preferred
  • RIBO Licensed Preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience on EPIC or equivalent insurance broker management system preferred
  • CIP/CAIB/CRM Designation completed or in progress an asset
  • Strong organizational, time and client management skills
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently
  • Proactive and customer focused approach
  • Knowledge of diverse insurance policies and emerging insurance trends
  • Resourceful researching skills
