HUB International continues to grow and seeking dynamic Personal Insurance Sales Advisors to join our busy Personal Insurance Sales Team in Oakville. This role reports to the Vice President, Personal Insurance.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Implementing effective sales strategy to increase sales in the Personal Insurance portfolio of services and referral to other HUB financial products

  • Creating HUB awareness in established Centers of Influence for sales opportunities and referrals.

  • Implementing innovative strategies to capture larger audiences i.e. associations, clubs, social media avenues etc.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • RIBO License or in progress

  • College Diploma/University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent work experience

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Broker preferred with experience with multiple markets

  • Strong business acumen and customer focused

  • Strong business development and sales experience

  • Effective cold calling, networking and presentation skills

  • Self-starter, strong initiative and innovative

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with Epic/TAM broker management systems an asset

  • Team player able to work within production and service teams.

  • Any other languages outside of English – written and verbal an asset
