Shared Services Supervisor
Available in either our Lindsay or Perth Office
We have recently launched a newly created department, Shared Services, and are in need of Supervisor to lead a cross functional team (Claims and Underwriting) across multiple offices. This department is a partner-focused team to deliver quality services to our operational departments at The Commonwell.
You will be in charge of the day-to-day operations, which includes managing the performance of your team using Service Level Agreements and metrics. You will actively involve your team in performance management by providing coaching and mentoring opportunities to grow and develop your team members to move within the team, and advance into other areas of the business.
You are a dedicated and proven leader with your past teams who possess the following key skills:
Advanced leadership and mentoring skills with a variety of learning styles and skill levels,
Proven experience in workforce management and planning to deal with load levelling and scheduling,
Solid Underwriting experience and have working knowledge of Claims processes,
Proven ability to drive and reinforce positive engagement with your teams, while managing an environment in constant change,
Superior communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality,
Superior customer service skills with a mindset for continuous improvement, and
Post secondary education or the equivalent work experience is required.
