Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance Company

Chief Operating Officer

Company Information

About Ayr Farmers Mutual

Our company was established in 1893 out of a desire to provide the residents of Ayr and surrounding communities with protection from devastating loss caused by fire. The tradition of ‘neighbour helping neighbour’ is the backbone of mutual insurance. Ayr Farmers Mutual (AFM) is proud to be an Ontario Mutual.

Over the past 124 years, AFM has always remained cognisant of the factors contributing to our past success while focusing on a progressive mandate for the future.

We see our competitive advantage in building relationships and a positive image in the communities we serve. Maintaining and preserving our strong brand presence and reputation is paramount to our success. We provide our products and services through a dedicated group of staff, agents and brokers.

It is our goal to demonstrate value to our customers through every contact with an AFM staff member or agent.

Our niche market is providing farm policies, however personal line products comprise the majority of our business. Commercial insurance opportunities continue to progress in growth for the organization.

AFM has enjoyed enviable growth within an 80 km radius of its geographical locale. Our success can be attributed to our excellent staff as well as a financial focus which concentrates on the health of our bottom line.

If you are interested in working for a company with an authentic “customer focus” as part of a visionary business plan, this may be the ideal opportunity.
