The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and supporting the maintenance, upkeep, and administration of business intelligence software and data extraction for the Analytics and Reporting team. You will work closely with and support the Operations and Insurance Quality Analysts in realising our data strategy. You will ensure timely reporting and regulatory statistical data submissions are carried out.
Are you a thriving professional with both computer and insurance experience that possesses the following key skills?
ü Experience in configuring and supporting commonly used spreadsheet and database applications,
ü Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs,
ü Experience working with data in Business Intelligence software and dashboards,
ü Ability to research, analyze, and recommend improvements to systems or processes,
ü Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL,
ü Effective communication skills to interact with various internal and external contacts,
ü Ability to work confidently under pressure and multi task,
ü Direct experience in the field of insurance is preferred,
ü Completion of post-secondary education and/or combination of work experience; and
ü Completion of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or working towards this is required. If not already being pursued, the candidate will be expected to enrol in the program upon starting.
