Job Description

The Opportunity:
The Co-operators is looking for a Claims Representative II - Bodily Injury in the National Claims department located in Edmonton or Red Deer, AB.

The Bodily Injury Claims Representative II is responsible for the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of complex bodily injury claims.

Your Qualifications:
• Three (3) years successful related claims handling experience or related business experience
•Chartered Insurance Professionals (CIP) designation
•Advanced knowledge of policy wordings, legislation and regulations
•Demonstrated leadership behaviours in current role
•Well developed computer skills including Microsoft Office software, internet and email systems
•Provincial adjuster license(s) maybe required dependent on the province of work.
•Bilingualism is an asset (English/French)
•The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment
•University/College Degree
