Available Positions:

Traffic and/or Highway Safety Engineer: 1 position (Location flexible)
Electrical Engineer: 1 position (Location Coquitlam)
Hydrotechnical Engineer: 1 position (Location flexible)
*Structural Enginner: 1 position (Location Kamloops)
*Highway Design Engineer: 1 position (Location Kamloops)

 
Classification:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Note: Under-implemented to EIT classification. Upon completion of EIT program, the full working level classification will be Licensed Science Officer (Designated Professional Engineer) 3.
 
Salary:
*$47,081.79 to $58,804.24 (Effective Februrary 1, 2018), plus 7% Overtime Shift Standby (OSS) that can be taken as time or pay. Please also click the EIT Career Page for details.

Locations: Coquitlam, Kamloops, Prince George or Victoria.

Are you a recent graduate (within the last 7 years or about to graduate this Spring) with your Bachelor's or higher degree focused in *Engineering, Electrical, Structural or Civil engineering, looking to earn your professional designation? We invite you to come build a rewarding career in our highly regarded Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Program with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

We are currently hiring multiple full-time EIT positions in various locations across British Columbia.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure's EIT program provides the opportunity to gain applied technical experience throughout British Columbia by moving you through multiple rotations in various locations over the course of the program. This dynamic range of experience will provide you with an opportunity to train, develop and grow professionally through challenging work assignments.
