Job Description

Senior VP and Chief Operating Officer ($260-325k)

Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO and other Vice-Presidents. Steward and balance our half-billion dollar budget. Mentor our leaders in Finance, Material Management, Decision Support, Facilities Management, Support Services and Business Development and mobilize your 542 employees. Inspire the confidence of the Board of Directors with your financial and business acumen. Foster positive relationships with the Local Health Integration Network and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The ideal candidate brings CEO-COO-CFO-VP-AVP-Deputy Minister-ADM-Superintendent level experience from a Canadian hospital, university, college, school board, municipality, crown agency, federal or provincial department. 

VP and Chief Nursing Executive ($220-275k)

‎Influence the quality of acute care at Northeastern Ontario's tertiary care center serving a region of 560,000 people. Lead three administrative directors, 5 medical directors, three managers, 1500 employees and a $153 million budget in Surgery, Medicine, Critical and Emergency Care, Patient Flow, Utilization and Infection Prevention and Control. Champion innovation in the delivery of the right care in a timely, safe and efficient way, as well as in our teaching and research endeavors. Exercise leadership related to nursing practice as a member of Senior Management and as a Board member, and more broadly at the regional, provincial and national levels. The ideal candidate brings VP-AVP-Director level experience from one of Canada’s Top 40 research hospitals or a large hospital.
