The Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University/Nova Scotia Health Authority is accepting applications for an academic full-time Physiatrist in the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are seeking an applicant with a special interest in Spinal Cord Injury medicine. The position will include opportunities for various outpatient clinics including, but not limited to neuromuscular, musculoskeletal,and pediatric transition clinics. The position will be available on or before July 1st, 2018.
The Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is an integral part of the Department of Medicine and provides inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth services for the Nova Scotia Health Authority as well as the Maritime Provinces.
The Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Center is a 66-bed facility with special programs for ABI, SCI, MSK, Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, and has excellent interdisciplinary teams that serve as the referral center for the province of Nova Scotia and is located in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia.

A comprehensive remuneration and benefits package through an alternative funding plan will apply. Candidates must hold FRCPC certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, (or equivalent specialty certification). Academic appointment ranking will be based on qualifications and experience.
