Join a robust team of nine radiologists, technicians, and support staff at the University Hospital of Northern BC to perform general radiology procedures.
Radiology services at UHNBC include:
- Breast Imaging Centre
- 2 CT scanners
- Nuclear Medicine
- Interventional Radiology
- Outreach services to GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel (approx.1 day per month travel is required)
UHNBC is the Regional Hospital for Northern BC serving the population of Prince George (approx. 80,000) and is a referral center for outlying communities (total population approx. 350,000). It is the main teaching center for Medical Students in the Northern Medical Program of UBC and provides teaching for UBC Residents in several specialties. The BC Cancer Centre for the North is located on the hospital site and includes radiation and medical oncology.
The ongoing development of UHNBC as a regional center and teaching center makes this an exciting time to join the medical community in Prince George.
