Blessing Physician Services is a 85+ provider, multi-specialty group affiliated with the not-for-profit Blessing Health System, the largest medical provider serving a 350,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The System operates Blessing Hospital, a 337-bed regional referral enter in Quincy, Illinois, and Illini Community Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Pittsfield, Illinois, (population 4,300). It also provides services contractually to a number of smaller healthcare organizations in the region.
The group opened an ENT department in 2010 with the recruitment of an experienced Otolaryngologist. His practice grew rapidly but he recently chose to return to California to be closer to family. To maintain and grow the practice we are seeking two ENT’s with outstanding contemporary training who want to build a robust practice while enjoying a great balance between professional and family life. We are currently staffing the department part-time with a temporary physician. Due to succession planning, the community has a high need for additional ENT’s. This is an opportunity to build a highly successful practice. As a not-for-profit health system, we accept all patients regardless of economic condition or insurance coverage. The right physicians will enjoy quick growth of the practice and income to match. The group is housed in a newer 140,000 sq. ft. clinic building connected by air-bridge to the main hospital, offering maximum convenience and efficiency. An audiologist is housed in the suite as well.
The right candidate needs to be willing to do trauma and take ER call. Support includes a Level II Trauma Center with 50,000 annual visits. Board Certification is an expectation of all our physicians.
