As part of our Analytics & Reporting department, the Operations Analyst will provide in-depth analysis and research on our data structure, maintenance, performance, and modelling. Leveraging Business Intelligence tools, the successful candidate will also create and maintain operational performance reporting which will support our portfolios, risk exposures, and market positioning. As an experienced data professional you will possess the following key skills and experience:
ü Strong knowledge of property, farm, automobile, and/or commercial insurance and guideline interpretation;
ü Good knowledge of reinsurance contracts;
ü Expert knowledge in P&C results analysis;
ü Expert computer knowledge in applications such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Business Intelligence software;
ü Ability to interpret and create standard database query logic is required;
ü Strong collaboration and presentation skills to all areas of the business;
ü Exceptional prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high degree of integrity; and
ü Minimum of 5 years in an Analyst role with experience supporting P&C insurance business, and completion of post-secondary education in the field of Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent is required.
