Position: IT Service Desk and Support Technician

Position Overview:
The IT Service Desk and Support Technician role has a main focus on answering support calls, documenting tickets and maintaining ITP RMM tools and applications, as well as from time to time resolving challenging business and technical issues while providing expert recommendations on day-to-day server and desktop software/hardware situations to clients. The successful candidate will provide exceptional telephone and remote support for a dynamic group of IT Partners clients and a background in a similar role is required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work at high level in a consultative approach with a wide variety of leading edge clients
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Windows environments
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft Exchange in multiple client environments
- Troubleshoot and support standard desktop operating systems, and standard desktop applications (Microsoft Office, Antivirus, etc)
- Efficiently troubleshoot infrastructure issues (network connectivity, printing, internet)
- Demonstrate time management skills by prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-energy environment
- Deal effectively with all levels of customers and team members
- Exceed client expectations while working under pressure
- Analytics with RMM tools
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience with Windows Server environments (including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Microsoft Office, etc)
- Knowledge and experience implementing computers and network architecture (desktops, switches, routers, printers)
- Preference to candidates who possess at least one I.T. certification (MCSE/MCITP, CCNA, Azure etc)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Effective / proven communication skills
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- The highest level of customer service
- A consultancy/professional services background
- A willingness to ask questions
Remuneration for this role will start at $30/hr.
