The MacGillivray Family have been serving our customers of Northern Nova Scotia for over 60 years and has been a household name for many people for a long time.
We service all of Antigonish, Guysborough, Pictou, and Inverness Counties, offering top notch Furnace Oil and Propane Delivery, paired with a Full HVAC Service Department. Our offices are located at 35 Adam Street in Antigonish and 244 Westville Road, New Glasgow.
Besides Furnace Oil and Propane delivery we also offer an in-house service department that can look after all of your heating needs. Our technicians are kept up to date on all of the latest technology and equipment on the market. We install Boilers, Furnaces, Water Heaters, Oil Tanks, Propane Tanks, Garage Heaters, Space Heaters, Gas Fireplaces, Heat Pumps, and Complete Home Heating and Cooling Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Installation, Service and Maintenance on a variety of Residential Ductless and Central Heatpumps
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in equipment
- Conduct field service visits to client locations for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used
Qualifications:
- Journeymen Red Seal Certificate for Refrigeration/HVAC
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience in Equipment Installation, Service and Repair
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide updates on service
progress
