At MedMira, our quality aspect of our business is extremely important, so we are seeking for an individual who has a high attention to detail, one who does not get overwhelmed in fast paced environments and for an individual who is able to perform repetitive tasks but is also versatile and willing to change tasks frequently.
The duties of the a Laboratory Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
· In process and final quality control visual and functional inspections on all components and finished products
· Incoming specimen, chemical and raw material inspections
· Calibration/verification of equipment and equipment cleaning and maintenance
· Environmental monitoring
· Monitor departmental chemical/supply inventory
· Maintenance of MSDS/SDS library
· Specimen screening/panel formation
· Aid in maintaining quality system and assist with maintenance of documents
· Recommend improvements
· Performing general good laboratory practices
· Provides additional assistance to Compliance Manager and QA/QC Supervisor
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
