We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. The Truck Driver must have a valid commercial driver's license and a good driving record. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-haul trucking, be able to work independently and be comfortable with long hours on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
- Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, customers, and law enforcement officials in a courteous and professional manner.
