We are currently seeking experienced Radiological technologist Mammography / X-Ray to join our team.
The Mammography Technologist independently performs screening mammography and related procedures as assigned. This includes duties such as preparing patients for mammography examinations, processing radiographs using appropriate equipment, providing patient education and performing administrative tasks.
As a representative of BC Cancer Screening and Greig Associates, the Screening Technologist interacts and conducts mammograms in a professional manner ensuring that patient confidentiality and respect is maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized program in Radiation Technology
- Certification and current active registration as a Radiology Technologist with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- One year of recent related experience performing breast imaging.
- Successful completion of CAMRT courses related to the practice of mammography such as Breast Imaging 1/2 and/or the Breast Imaging Certificate Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
