Job Description:
Position Summary: As a Full-Time Sales Representative at Bizi Transport Inc., you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, increasing revenue, and promoting our services within the Edmonton area. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
· Identify and target potential customers in the transportation and logistics industry.
· Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
· Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales leads.
Sales and Business Development:
· Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
· Present our transportation services to prospective clients, emphasizing the benefits and value we offer.
· Negotiate pricing and contracts with potential clients.
· Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to customers.
Relationship Building:
· Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand your professional network.
· Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Reporting and Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, sales calls, and customer interactions.
· Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.
Market Intelligence:
· Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to make informed decisions.
· Share market insights and feedback with the management team to drive strategic improvements.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
· Knowledge of the Edmonton transportation market is a plus.
