Our Olds, AB location has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Journeyperson technician. This position will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairs in our service shop, and may require some on-the-road work seasonally.
What does the role look like?
- As an experienced technician, you are comfortable working independently.
- The role involves diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment and performing any necessary tests to determine required solutions.
- Recommend repairs as necessary to Service Manager or customer.
- Complete repairs and maintenance of equipment as necessary.
- Prepare accurate write-ups of work performed in a timely manner.
- Able to communicate with factory technical support teams as necessary.
- Share information across the organization.
- Ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- The work will be primarily in shop, but some road work may be required at times
- As our customers work long hours in the busy season, we do as well to support them!
What are we looking for?
- Journeyman: Agricultural Equipment or Heavy Duty.
- Ability to work independently, while troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing agricultural equipment
- Familiarity with Agricultural equipment such as tractors, balers, skid steers, etc.
- At least 3 years of experience as a technician.
- Positive attitude, team player
