Position Overview
This is a hands-on position that includes leading crews, exterior carpentry, training your team, scheduling, high communication skills and site administration. In order to excel in this role you need to have strong leadership skills and extensive installation experience in building envelope/restoration projects. This is a salaried position accompanied by bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages every project from inception to completion, overseeing all aspects of job site operations, regardless of project size.
- Collaborates closely with the Project Manager or coordinator to guarantee seamless execution of all project milestones.
- Proficiently interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and effectively conveys this information to the team.
- Contributes to the estimation of materials and labor costs essential for project planning.
- Ensures adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborates effectively within their team and across teams as the situation demands.
- Diplomatically communicates with clients in a professional manner when the need arises.
- Assumes a leadership role in maintaining high standards of quality control and safety on site.
- When required, prepared to assume all carpentry duties, including but not limited to window installation, framing, addressing decay concerns, caulking, insulation placement, installation of interior and exterior trim, and sheathing and papering.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of construction experience in either a trade or site management role.
- 5+ years of carpentry experience.
- Competent in preventing and managing on-site injury incidents.
- Red seal certified is considered an asset.
- Ability to reach, analyze and interpret drawings, documents, and procedures.
- Strong technical skills (Word, Excel, MS Project an asset).
