Sunnybrook Research Institute is looking for a Postdoctoral fellow to work on several research projects related to neuromodulation in preclinical models of neuropsychiatric disorders.
Responsibilities Skills and Qualifications (important requisites)
Be familiar with behavioural tasks and practical aspects of rodent behaviour.
Conduct stereotactic procedures in rodents
Conduct neurochemical and immunohistochemistry experiments
Conduct optogenetics and chemogenetics experiments
Be fairly independent and conduct research in collaboration with other team members
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Being able to work sporadically on weekends is requirement.
Work requires the candidate to be on site and not work remotely.
