Our Thermo King office in AYR is looking for a General Labourer. In this role you will be responsible for supporting mechanics with their work duties and assisting in general duties required in the yard

RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:
- Assist mechanics on site. Responsible for handing out parts for reefer installations.
- At times checking in and out trailers
- At times may be required for parts delivery and pick up
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
- Offload and load deliveries with forklift
- Daily forklift inspections
- Work with general maintenance coordinator to maintain a clean organized shop, parts department, and yard.
- Assist technicians and shipper/receiver with use of forklift.
- Additional tasks handed out by manager.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Valid G Class Driver's License
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to follow direction well
- Must have an excellent safety attitude, promoting and contributing to a strong safety culture and demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
