We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and preparing food, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, following recipes, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The main role of this Prep Cook will be preparing cut veggies and cut fruit for the summer months. In the Winter season, this position will shift prtially into cooking food.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
- Adhere to all food safety requirements.
- Prepare ingredients for use in cooking.
- Measure and assemble ingredients and cook items according to recipes.
- Monitor food quality while preparing food.
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and equipment.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: $16.70-$18.00 per hour
