Career Opportunity:
The WestRock Guelph facility is looking for a Part-Time Facility Utility (Maintenance Technician). To be considered for this position, you must be able to work Monday through Saturday up to 24 to 30 hours per week on rotating shifts (midnight, afternoon, days).
All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pre-employment medical.
Job Duties:

Assisting full-time maintenance staff on maintenance programs
-
Preventative maintenance tasks including, but not limited to:
-
Lubrication of bearings, rollers, and other equipment
-
Validation checks on equipment.

Conveyor maintenance
-
Other duties as assigned
-
Trained and able to handle heavy equipment safely and have knowledge of maintenance foundation work.
What you need to work at WestRock:

High school diploma or the equivalent
-
Suitable for those attending a trades program in Millwright, Electrician etc.

Mechanically inclined
-
Maintenance experience would be an asset

Positive, can-do attitude/Initiative

Physically fit
-
Available Monday through Saturday, up to 24 to 30 hours per week on rotating shifts
