Join our Dynamic Team as an Ultrasound Technologist at Canada Vein Clinics!
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform all general ultrasound duties, including arterial and venous Doppler studies, venous insufficiency studies, and DVT studies
- Conduct post ablation ultrasounds, carotid artery exams, and diagnostic/follow-up assessments for aortic aneurysms
- Prepare and assess patients for ultrasound exams, ensuring validity based on provided medical history
- Complete the exam process, including image review, technologist impression sheet, and documentation confirmation
- Collaborate with radiologists for reporting via PACS
- Attend all team and QA meetings
Qualifications:
- Must be registered and in good standing with the CMRITO
- Personal Liability Insurance (PLI) required
- Accredited college diploma preferred
- Current registration as an RVT with ARDMS and/or as a registered vascular sonographer (CRVS) with Sonography Canada
- Minimum 2 years' experience with all aspects of ultrasound preferred
- Previous US experience within a hospital setting preferred
- Strong documentation skills and excellent knowledge of anatomy required
- Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good teamwork and customer service skills
- Excellent attendance and discipline-free record required
