We are now seeking a Lead Hand for the shop floor

Responsibilities
- Quality Control for all stations. Ensuring that products are ready to ship complete
- Involvement when jobs are being loaded onto the truck (ie: Finding or having missing products remade, ensuring all items have been checked off and loaded correctly)
- Periodic check ins with all stations to ensure we are meeting our daily goals. Working with the production Manager to adjust plans when we are not.
- Running deficiencies through the shop in a timely manner to complete jobs
- Work with the Production Manager to troubleshoot issues with the various machines and ensure the maintenance schedules are being followed
- Ensure all crew are operating equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitor the different stations to ensure that people downstream will always be busy and not waiting for parts to come through
- Work with the Production Manager to keep stock levels correct
Qualifications
· Experience with forklifts
· Experience with CNC nesting Machines and edge banders
· Experience with Jointer/Planer/Table Saw/Wide Belt Sander
· Experience with finishing equipment & techniques
· Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to
prioritize effectively
· Wages will be dependent on experience
