CanTorque is unlike any other industrial company and we’re looking for an Administrative Assistant that is equally unique. We manufacture industrial torque and tension tools with distributors around the world, customers across Canada and manufacturing partners mainly in the Edmonton area.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working within a small company with minimal supervision with rapidly changing needs and can adapt to whatever role is required in any given situation.
Key position functions include:
- Provide support to the President and technical staff
- Assist in the development and integration of recently implemented ERP software
- Assist in the creation and execution of international shipments and paperwork
- Front office reception
- Inside sales support-generate quotations, log & organize customer correspondence
- Coordinate special projects
- Execute timely delivery of technical or marketing materials and product literature
- Other duties and project work as required
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior administrative role supporting management or executive
- Takes pride in organization with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on company requirements
- Ability to follow instructions whether verbal or in writing
- Highly proficient with all forms of computer software with working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software is paramount. Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint also highly valued
- Willing to adapt to ever changing needs of the company and our customers
- Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail
