We are currently recruiting Site Construction Labourers to join our team. In this position you would execute daily activities on active projects under the direction of the Site Foreman or Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Review daily tasks with site foreman or supervisor
- Communicate and work along side team members for the execution of construction tasks required under the scope and schedule of the project
- Ensure trucks and equipment are prepared, maintained and ready for daily activities
- Understanding and safe operation of construction equipment
- Proper and accurate use of various small tools including laser survey equipment
- Physical labour to assist in the completion of construction tasks including potential heavy lifting
- Ensure daily duties are completed in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations
- Complete daily hazard assessments, equipment review and hourly tracking
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of similar experience in civil, landscape, earthwork or environmental construction
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
- Ability to understand construction processes
- Strong work ethic with ability to follow direction
- Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
