Evening class teacher Monday to Friday
Job Description:
CJ College is looking for a Medical Lab instructor with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team! The instructor will be required to teach theory and labs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students through lectures and labs
- Deliver lesson plans and assignments using a variety of teaching techniques
- Administer and grade quizzes, exams and labs
- Perform administrative tasks including student records keeping, attendance, lab setup etc.
- Coordinate and arrange practical placements for students within a Laboratory setting
- Adhere to principles, requirements and delivery of the program as per CJ College standards and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development
Qualifications:
- Active member of MLPAO (Medical Laboratory Professionals' Association of Ontario or OSMT Certified Medical Laboratory Technician)
- A minimum of four (4) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian Laboratory setting
- Required criteria as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act 2005
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M3J 3K2
