A Machine Operator reports to the Plant Manager for our Ste. Anne, MB location. Operates equipment and machinery that requires a certain level of proficiency acquired through training on the job and specialized training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete all paperwork required for assigned tasks ensuring proper documentation for Food Safety and follow quality standards

Ability to follow strict manufacturing practices and safety policies

Load bulk trucks: Unload and receive the ingredients; Accurately and efficiently ship products ordered by customers

Perform the tasks related to the preventive and sanitary maintenance of the plant and ensure that the quality control requirements of the ingredients are met at all times

Operate the production line

Endeavors to be productive at all times; Other duties as required.
PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

Grade 12 or equivalent

Ability to communicate and write in English

Roughly 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role

Training on the job plus specialized (formal) training

Knowledge in manufacturing/farming
GOOD TO KNOW

Ability to regularly bend and twist and lift 50 pounds

Full Time; Permanent

This is a shift work position of night, evening and days to cover a 24 hour day – 5 days per week with over-time as needed.
