Position Title: Office Administrator
Salary Range: $28/hr
About the Client and Role
We seek an office administrator for our office and travel hub in Iqaluit NU. In this position, you will be expected to take care of all duties and responsibilities of reception, administration and business support. The position is Monday to Friday from 9am to 4:30pm. Pay is $28.00/hr.
On-call Overtime is available based on project deadlines. Benefits available after probation 3-6 months. Entry level role with ample growth potential
Main Accountabilities:

Handle reception duties including answering phone calls, greeting customers and clients with a positive and helpful attitude

Respond to in-person queries, re-direct them to the right person, forward phone calls, take messages and turnaround in a timely manner

Email management - action emails based on priorities and urgencies

Handling Travel Arrangements – book and arrange travel within Nunavut and OutBound from Nunavut across Canada

Courier and other snail mail coordination

Database management – keep the database upto date with accurate data

Office management – keep the office clean, safe, hygienic and tidy and engage cleaning services as needed
Main Qualifications:

Punctual, organized and resourceful

Fluent in Inuktitut and in English

Polite, courteous and patient on the phone and emails

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Customer focused with active listening, prioritizing skills

Attention to detail
-
Consistent and reliable to be in the office each day

Bachelors Degree is a must
-
MS Office and good typing skills is a must
