We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled part-time staff member to help us deliver exceptional customer service and administrative support. Work 16-20 hours per week, with shifts on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in both administration and customer service. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming clinic environment, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
- Manage patient records, including creating and updating health records and filing paperwork.
- Maintain clinic statistics.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and follow up with patients to confirm appointments and reschedule as needed.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails from patients, healthcare providers, and other external parties.
- Check patients in and out of the clinic, collect payments, and manage insurance claims.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment.
- Assist the chiropractor with patient care, such as preparing treatment rooms and administering therapies as directed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including a weekly deep clean, stocking supplies and equipment as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming clinic environment, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
