We are seeking Class 1 and Class 3 drivers for the Winnipeg area. Ideal candidates should be punctual, focused, reliable, motivated, dedicated, safety Aware and a safe driver. As a Covert Driver you are required to switch and move the trailers from one point to another. The job requirements as follows: -
- Minimum 1 year continuous experience in trucking industry
- Must have valid Class 1 or Class 2 or Class 3 license with a clean driving abstract
Functional Capabilities:
- Lift weight 50 to 70lbs
- Operate an electric/manual pallet jack
- Operate a Manual or Standard transmission
- Perform other physical tasks
The Job responsibilities-
- Put the safety of yourself and others as a top priority
- Operating company equipment in a safe and secure manner
- Deliver loads and move trailers
- Refuel and clean equipment on regular basis
- Inspect the truck, record defects and follow company guidelines.
- Complete the task on time given by dispatch or planning.
- Must be on the job on time as per the schedule
- Deliver dangerous goods with proper procedure and paperwork
