triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a medical office administrative professional to work within our Medical Office Assistant online program as an Online Facilitator.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Online Facilitator provides and sustains an effective online learning environment for every student through well-moderated classes, fair and holistic assessment of learning, and clear documentation of student progress. The primary method of communication with students is through computer-based communications such as two-way video conferences, chat, phone, and email.
The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate learning in an interactive and professional environment using techniques and methods for quality online instruction. Communicates with students in a timely and professional manner and answers course-related questions. Suitably challenges and communicates with students to encourage their participation and learning progress. Provides regular, accurate, and timely student-specific assistance, feedback, and support to students relative to their performance. Grades and provides individual constructive feedback on all student deliverables. The online classroom environment has some unique instructional requirements, such as posting original videos online, and facilitating online workshops.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years medical office experience.
- Experience with medical billing and medical transcription is required.
- The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Successful candidates must be comfortable using computers, classroom technology such as a Learning Management System as well as Remote Communication Technology.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
Hours of Work:
This is an occasional part-time position. Hours of work will Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day. The Facilitator and the Online Campus Director will determine these hours.

The successful candidate can work remotely and can be based anywhere in Canada.
