We are currently looking for an experienced part-time Mammography Technologist.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images
- At least 1 year relevant work experience in Canada
- The Radiology Technologist must have current registration with College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
- Preferred to be Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist Certification or be certified by an equivalent licensing body recognized by the C.A.M.R.T.
- Completed clinical and didactic mammography training certificate
- Approval by OBSP standards
- Perform routine mammography, as well as coned compression and magnification mammography as per radiologist/reports
- Working knowledge of breast anatomy, proper radiographic exposure factors and procedures for mandated Quality Control activities
- Technologist must be comfortable with the use of computers – to be used with the digital x-ray equipment as well as our PACS/RIS
- Record quality control as required
- Record repeat/rejects for analysis
- Completed continuing education courses and courses specific to mammography
- Excellent patient care, a customer service approach is essential.
- Ability to coordinate with other staff when patient has multiple examinations
- Maintain professional relationships with patients and fellow co-workers

Salary: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
