Assistant Branch Manager
The Assistant Branch Manager helps supports the Ketek branches in their day-to-day operations, providing assistance with issues such as equipment and manpower. This position will provide feedback to management on any ongoing issues or requirements from the branch working together with the Branch / General Manager.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Branch / General Manager with issues such as equipment and manpower
- Assist managers with procedures and processes when needed
- Help manage daily operations, especially customer service, and make improvements as needed
- Ensure branch is following the Ketek operational procedures, policies, and the Loss Prevention Program
- Provide knowledge and guidance to Business Development
- Relay information to management on branch specific issues
- Provide information to the branch when new procedures or processes are introduced
- Fill required paperwork
- Coordinate with the Training department for scheduling of new/recertification training
- Actively strive to ensure a positive, safe work environment with high employee morale
- Approve daily job control sheets and time-off requests
- Coordinate with Human Resources to engage in progressive discipline where required
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of oilfield, rentals, and/or construction experience
- Fluent in the English language (reading, written, spoken)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to deal with the public in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent demanding deadlines
- Ability to handle changing schedules and priorities, with high-level prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fort St. John, BC V1J 0B4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
