Our Temporary Full-Time Production Workers are important members of our team, providing coverage for worker shortages, employee vacation/sick leave coverage and increased production needs.
Duties:
Preparing, producing and assembling interior automotive components such as the instrument panel (dashboard), door panels and center consoles on a fast-paced, rotating line. Even if you don't have automotive or manufacturing experience we will provide you with on-site, job specific training. Employees rotate every 2 hours in support of the health and safety of our employees and to allow for cross-training.

Willing and able to work in a fast-paced, assembly team environment

Good finger dexterity required for performing a variety of nimble tasks in sequence

Good hand-eye coordination to assemble components and operate production presses

Excellent attention to detail

Willing and able to use hand tools to assemble components (will be trained)

Ability to follow standardized work instructions

Ability to produce top quality work, and maintaining a focus on quality

You understand and value safe working habits for yourself and your peers

All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory background and criminal background check prior to starting work

Must currently be able to legally work and live in Canada for any employer
Shifts: Must be available to work 8.5 hour straight Days (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or Afternoons (2:30/3:00 PM - 11:00/11:30 PM), or a mix of both as required, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Employees need to work regularly on Saturdays based on the production schedule.
Work Conditions:

Fast-paced, moving, reaching, pushing/pulling and lifting up to 25 lbs., while working on a rotating line system or injection press. There is a need for prolonged standing throughout the shift.

Excellent attendance and reliability is essential

Must have reliable transportation (recognizing the bus schedule doesn't align with our shifts)

Must wear Safety Footwear, and Personal Protective Equipment as required
Hours of Work:
Employees work 40 hour work week, and must be prepared to work up to 48 hours per week on Saturdays (depends on vacancies and production needs). Overtime paid after 40 hours/week.

Working as a Temporary Production Worker allows the opportunity to be fully trained and eligible to become a full-time employee.
