Swine Technician – Summer Student

Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Swine Technician for the Summer Term of March-August 2023 located in the community of La Broquerie. This position reports to the Barn Manager.
Your days will include (tasks may vary):
- Daily health checks on the pigs
- Carry out feeding program
- Breeding, farrowing duties
- Weigh and sort pigs for transport
- Wash empty rooms, prepping room for animal entry
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Self-motivated
- Good work ethic
- Work well with others
- Experience as swine tech an asset
